Amanda is your dedicated patient liaison and coordinator. We check in daily, then weekly through the first month, and Ellie begins specialized bariatric dietitian follow-up at approximately one month.

Planning your surgical visit
Book flexible travel only after Amanda confirms your surgical date and preparation requirements. We ask you to remain near the surgical centre for three days after surgery and assess you in person before you return to Nova Scotia.
Travel and accommodation are not included in the MyLife fee. Most follow-up continues from home by Zoom or phone, with in-person care available whenever requested or clinically appropriate.
Your surgical visit may last only a few days, but our relationship with you continues after you return to Atlantic Canada. We remain invested in helping you achieve meaningful progress and maintain it over the years ahead.
