His extensive training includes specialization in bariatric surgery at McMaster University, general surgery at the University of Toronto, and an MBA from the prestigious Rotman School of Management.

Dr. Ramji is not only a skilled surgeon at St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton, where he operates alongside renowned colleagues Drs. Hong and Doumouras, but he also pioneered the same-day discharge program for bariatric patients at St. Joseph’s, dramatically improving patient outcomes and satisfaction.
