A weight loss makeover is a combination of procedures for people who have lost a significant amount of weight through diet, exercise and/or weight loss surgery. Beyond removing skin, we aim to restore shape, and even add back volume in targeted areas. Together we plan a series of operations to address abdominal and lower body (tummy tuck, extended tummy tuck, circumferential body lift), breast size and shape (lift, augmentation), arm and leg contour (arm and thigh lift), and face and neck rejuvenation). Typically two procedures can be combined.

A mommy makeover is a combination of procedures for women following pregnancy. We aim to restore shape and add back volume in targeted areas. Typically it is a single operation to address the abdomen (tummy tuck) and breasts (lift and/or augmentation). Additional liposuction and fat transfer can also be added.

Abdominoplasty “tummy tuck” surgery restores contour to your midsection. It is not a weight loss surgery itself, but ideal for people following significant weight loss, or pregnancy. Excess skin and fat are removed, including stretch marks. The muscle layer is also tightened, improving your figure.

Liposuction “lipo” is a minimally invasive procedure that improves contour of specific areas by removing fat. It is not a weight loss surgery itself, but ideal for people with tight, elastic skin and fat deposits that do not respond to diet or weight loss. It does not change the overlying skin, but can be performed in combination with procedures that do (like breast reductions, tummy tucks, arm and thigh lifts).

Brachioplasty “arm lift” surgery improves the contour of your arms, ideal for people following significant weight loss, or changes with aging. Excess skin is removed to improve your figure and restore proportion.

Thigh lift surgery improves the contour of your inner thighs, and is ideal for people or managing changes that occur with aging. Excess skin is removed to improve your figure and restore proportion.

Brazilian Butt Lift “BBL” surgery involves two parts. First is liposuction to “sculpt” curves of the waist, lower back, buttock and thighs, creating shape. Additional liposuction is performed from other desired areas. The fat is then prepared, and reinjected to the buttock to increase volume and projection, accentuating your shape.

Labiaplasty surgery improves the size and shape of the vaginal lips, and can address the labia majora (larger, outer), and/or labia minora (smaller, inner). Beyond aesthetics, labiaplasty aims to make women more comfortable during activities, in clothing, and during sex. These procedures can be done while awake.

Breast augmentation surgery typically uses implants to increase the size, volume and projection of your breasts. Breast augmentation can improve symmetry, and proportion with your overall figure. Augmentation alone will improve minor “droop”, but it does not significantly change severe drooping or sagging breast skin. Augmentation can be performed together or in separate stages with a breast lift to meet your goals.

Mastopexy “breast lift” surgery improves the contour and shape of your breasts, and lifts the position of the nipple. It is ideal for women following significant weight loss, pregnancy, removal of previous implants, or changes with aging. Breast lift can be combined with an implant or fat grafting.

Revisions after previous breast surgery can improve symmetry, change size, or correct existing issues. Our plastic surgeons are experts in breast reconstruction, with an acumen to correct any issues you may have.

Many patients with breast implants choose to have them removed for a variety of reasons. Implant removal “explant” surgery involves the removal of both the existing breast implant and surrounding capsule, and lab testing of the removed tissue. Our plastic surgeons were both trained at major North American cancer centers, and have expertise in the safety of plastic surgery devices and procedures. Together we plan to remove the implant, capsule (selective or complete capsulectomy, en-bloc technique), and possibly perform a breast lift either at the same time or later.

Nipple correction surgery can address the shape, size and symmetry of the nipple areolar complex. It is ideal for women with changes that persist after breastfeeding. Techniques aim to correct nipple inversion, reduce nipple and/or areolar size. These procedures can be done awake.
